Come check out the Grande Prairie scene if you are in the area. Best kiting spot is Bear Lake (a good launch can be found at Bear Lake Campground on the NE side of the Lake). You can check out some pics at Facebook "Grande Prairie Kiteboarding". See ya around!
P.S. - I have rated this site as intermediate because the launch can be a bit much if you are a beginner or alone....not much shoreline to work with.
